SWEDEN INTRODUCES LICENSES FOR ONLINE GAMING – WILL SWEDEN BECOME A NEW HUB FOR THE INDUSTRY?
Sweden is on the verge of launching a fully-fledged licensing system for online gaming. The Gaming Board will review license applications this summer. The new law will come into force on January 1 2019.
What will it mean for the industry? Will the system be commercially attractive? What will happen to ATG and Svenska Spel? Is the Gaming Board really ready for the re-regulation? Will Sweden become flooded with new operators and services? Will it lead to a revolution of sports club and entertainment investments? What new taxes will be implemented in Sweden?
These questions will be dealt with by a distinguished panel of experts and business-executives:
Dr. Ola Wiklund, Wiklund Law, an experienced and internationally recognized expert in gaming law.
Gustaf Hoffstedt, General Secretary of BOS
Peter Alling, Head of Public Affairs at Kindred Group
Kaaren Hilsen, CFO of Betsson AB
Philip Doftvik, Head of Investor Relations at LeoVegas Group
Marcus Teilman, CEO of Net Gaming Europe Group
Hans Peter Larsson, Partner, TAX Services, PwC
Per-Åke Bois, Senior Partner, Nexia
